It all began way back in 1963 when Bruno and Gabriella, fisherman and mother and housewife decided to take a small trattoria on the promontory which divides into two branches the lake. At firstthey served mainly fish dishes caught by Bruno, cooked and served by Gabriella. A few years later, in 1967 they decided to restructure, and from a small trattoria that served fish, born "La Punta's Restaurant". Meanwhile Gilberto, Andrea and Massimo their three children were growing inside the restaurant always committed to helping those in the kitchen, dining room and in those who like Andrea began to learn from his father the art of fishing.
Gilberto in 1978, the eldest son will complete his studies in the prestigious hotel school "Grand Bretagne" in Bellagio, a few years after Andrew became a fisherman in 1988 and is also High graduate with honors at the Bellagio hotel school. From this point onwards a series of events have brought the little family-run restaurant in one of the best restaurants in the lake. The enchanting position near the center with a breathtaking view on the three branches of the lake make it unique. Gilberto and his passion for fine wine have made the restaurant "La Punta" a point of reference for the connoisseurs palate up.
The wine list has over 400 labels of Italian wines and French. Andrea now for almost three decades fisher attorney fresh fish that is served every evening in many different ways. Massimo, after years of experience in the best hotels in St. Moritz which operates a small brigade of chefs experts who express themselves best with local produce and classic Italian cuisine. The service is always impeccable left in the hands of a group of young boys but very experienced. The restaurant "La Punta" is synonymous with quality in a unique and refined.
